About Among Us

Among Us is a multiplayer social deduction game inspired by classic party games like Mafia. The action takes place on a futuristic spaceship, research base, or alien planet where teamwork is essential. At the start of each match, players are secretly assigned roles. Most become Crewmates, but a few are chosen as Imposters. The tension comes from not knowing who to trust.

Core Gameplay and Objectives

What is the objective of Among Us? Each match revolves around two opposing goals. Crewmates must complete all assigned tasks or successfully identify and vote out every Imposter. Tasks are short mini games such as fixing wires, fueling engines, or swiping keycards. Meanwhile, Imposters secretly eliminate Crewmates and create chaos through sabotage. If Imposters reduce the crew to equal numbers, they win instantly.

Crewmates: Complete and Survive

Crewmates focus on cooperation and observation. They must move around the map completing tasks while staying alert. If a body is discovered, players can report it to trigger a meeting. During discussions, everyone debates suspicious behavior and votes on who to eject. Communication and deduction are key to survival.

Imposters: Deception and Sabotage

Imposters rely on stealth and manipulation. They can eliminate players when alone and use vents to move quickly across the map. Sabotage abilities allow them to disable lights, cut oxygen, or cause reactor meltdowns, forcing Crewmates into panic. During meetings, Imposters must lie convincingly to avoid suspicion. Good acting often matters more than quick kills.

What Are the Different Maps in Among Us?

Among Us features multiple official maps, each with unique layouts and task systems. The Skeld is the original spaceship map and remains the most iconic. Mira HQ focuses on tight corridors and vent connections. Polus offers a larger open environment with outdoor sections. The Airship introduces ladders and moving platforms for more complex navigation. Each map changes strategy, visibility, and escape routes.
