What is Voxmaxa?
Voxmaxa is a fast-paced multiplayer first-person shooter set in a creative voxel-style world. Instead of simply running and shooting, you can build fortresses from wool blocks, use the environment for cover, and mine ores to gain temporary power-ups.
Before entering battle, choose a fighter that fits your preferred playstyle. The Knight offers balanced melee combat with good speed and defense, while the Troll focuses on powerful close-range attacks. The Robot specializes in precise long-range combat, and the Archer provides a high-risk, high-reward ranged playstyle.
How to Play Voxmaxa
Your main goal is to defeat opposing players while making smart use of the block-based environment. Mining ores with your pickaxe gives you temporary boosts to movement speed, jump height, damage, and health regeneration. These bonuses can give you a major advantage during a fight, so don't overlook them while focusing on your opponents.
Building is another important part of the experience. Place wool blocks to create cover or defensive structures, then combine your building skills with attacks to outsmart enemy players.
For a different experience, use the Server Selector to enter the Infinite Sandbox (BETA). This mode lets you move freely through a huge world where you can build, experiment, and explore.
Progress comes from:
- Choosing a character that matches your combat style
- Defeating enemy players
- Mining ores for temporary power-ups
- Using speed and jump boosts to improve mobility
- Taking advantage of damage and regeneration boosts
- Building wool defenses for protection
- Using the environment strategically
